7 Breath of Darkness

Richard could only move freely after an entire day of rest, and he headed straight for Waterflower’s room when he got out of bed. His soulguard had been shifted to the largest chamber on this floor as per his instructions, consisting of two adjacent rooms opened up to give her more than 200 square meters of space. It was already deep into the night, but he moved his workbench and tools to the young lady’s room, accompanied by all sorts of materials.

The girl stood in the center of the unlit room, looking like an ethereal spirit in the moonlight shining through the window. She knew that he was crafting runes for her, and it filled her with a strong sense of anticipation and anxiety.

Richard took a deep breath and let it out, calming himself before motioning for Waterflower to remove her clothes. The girl was stunned by the request and hesitated to complete it, but seemed to think of something quickly and removed all her clothes. Her naked body was near-perfect, consisting of smooth, unblemished skin with perky breasts and long, slender legs. Waterflower’s body was filled with a sense of might that was entirely different from Flowsand’s, but it also seemed illusory as though enveloped in layers of mist. Scanning her with a spell first, he circled closely around her while observing every inch of her skin.

“Truly a work of art, so divine! This just might work...” he muttered to himself while immersed in the glamorous world of runes and magic, failing to notice her rapid breaths and trembling body. In his eyes, every part of this perfect body was radiating a magical light; her rune capacity was so great that he could go crazy! Although Waterflower hadn’t unlocked anything else from her bloodline upon reaching level 10, her rune capacity had increased to put her on par with Flowsand. In his eyes, she was the best candidate for a rune knight that most runemasters could only dream of.

By this point, he’d made it behind her. Half-squatting with his face less than ten centimeters away from her body, his gaze slowly traced the curve of her butt downwards. This beautiful line fit perfectly with one rune idea he had, and engulfed in that happiness, he couldn’t help but reach out to touch that perfect skin. The girl’s body heated up the moment his fingertips made contact, as though an intense flame had been ignited within.

Initially lost in the world of runes, Richard was suddenly brought back to reality as his heart clenched. Before his body could even respond, his world was upside down and shaking heard. A loud thud echoed as all sorts of lights flashed across his eyes, his internal organs seemingly displaced by the impact as excruciating pain overcame him. However, things were not over just yet. The shadow of death loomed over as he felt a sharp pain at his rear.

“STOP!” he screamed at Waterflower. The girl was already pressing down on his back with one hand, while the other was prepared to strike at his butt.
